エドガー・アラン・ポーの『赤死病の仮面』を題材に取り上げ、
3部構成、10分に迫る大作ナンバー。
派手に自己主張する各セクションの見せ場や
まるで90年代のモダン・ヘヴィネスを先取りしたかのような
（要するにBLACK SABBATH風）スロー・パートを織り交ぜつつ
大仰に展開していく楽曲は、アイデアが先行し過ぎて
やや冗長な出来栄えなれど、意気込みは大いに買える。
頑張ったで賞。
